Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
It is probably a better idea to find free content online for beginner learners, or to join online groups for beginners! This server is very helpful for specific questions and for improving your fluency but if you have no experience with French, you might have difficulty.
There are lots of resources online, I recommend learning some basic vocabulary with Duolingo (it’s not perfect but it is useful for vocabulary) and learning some verbs in the present tense.
The best verbs to start with are ‘avoir’ (to have), ‘être’ (to be), ‘aller’ (to go), and ‘faire’ (to do). Learning how to use these verbs in the present is a good start if you have no experience with French. :)
And good luck!
Seneca is a website that has a lot of useful information, I used to have French homework on there a few years ago. I recommend finding a course on Seneca that’s intended for younger students. This is the course I used to use, it might be useful! I hope the link works, you might have to create an account first, but it doesn’t cost anything. https://app.senecalearning.com/classroom/course/358c7423-e317-498b-b0c9-32f205b92a3b/section/4a9a73b2-f336-4105-b635-235459e42079/session
Duolingo isn’t great because it doesn’t really explain how the language works
Like it doesn’t really explain grammar, it just tells you direct translations
But it can be helpful to expand your vocabulary, it just shouldn’t be your only way of studying
If you really want to learn with Seneca then I recommend taking notes. If you don’t like Seneca, there are loads of other resources, just ask on the server again for good resources for absolute beginners :)
Okay
Im learning french because of the musics lol
cool!! if you have some favourite songs maybe you could try and translate them from french into portuguese
and if you have any questions then just ask here :)
Thank you, your help is very good
