<@&1305149516403576852> Match twenty-six is underway and votes are open!
If you haven't submitted your entries yet, feel free to do so in @heavy patio's DMs, even in advance (your own DMs must be open). We will play a match as it becomes available, so please don't let the order/match number worry you and be sure to send in your entries ahead of time! Even a single entry can sometimes make the difference between playing or waiting on a match.
so that's how you say asap in french...🫨
the feeling of being elevated to frapience
That’s such an interesting construction in the first entry, “soit…, soit…”
It means “either…, or…”, right?
Yep!

$10.
okay 20.
@final atlas we tried ...
yeah I wrote the entry because I heard it used for static recently and now I've been hearing it ALL the time and when I looked on l'Académie Française they had an alternative definition for sleet, I knew about grésil for hail but I don't know how common grésille is for sleet, is it more of a literary definition like describing the sound of sleet or hail hitting the ground?
I appreciate it XD
I would never use grésiller for sleet tbh
grésil - sleet
il tombe du grésil - it's sleeting
grêle - hail
il grêle - it's hailing
