Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Donc is a bit more formal sounding, and more of a direct consequence, soooort of like "therefore", so you'll encounter it more often in stuff like math
But functionally they're pretty interchangeable
Alors has some special uses like "alors que" too
thank you so much!! I have been trying to research it for a while and couldn't find and straightforward answers
Would you be able to give me an example sentence with "alors que" by chance? I have heard of the word combo but I'm not sure how it's used
I can make a new request if need be
: )
Basically "although" or "while", I can't think up a good example rn though
okay, thanks so much for your help!!!!
