Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Two city names have a wrong spelling.
Which ones?
Try to compare your map with another one. Why do you need to study city names, is it for a geography test ?
For French test
You don’t need that
I do, I need to pass
Im js studying what she told us to study
I guess its something to do with culture
Understand the culture,
Understand the language
Thing is… Why? Unless you're learning French geography, like the geography of France, it's not going to be very useful. Since the poster is marked as beginner/débutant.e, I don't know why this distinction would appear…
Moreover, it's a bit… off? I mean, Rennes for Bretagne, Bordeaux for Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Paris for Île-de-France; it's clear that it's the Régions and their Préfectures but why would the Grand-Est have Metz and the Centre Val de Loire having Tours?
I mean, OP, you can just open the Wikipedia page on French Regions and click on the map but I fail to see the relevance of it
Bertie, Rouen is the right prefecture but Caen is where the council seat is.
Oh, they separated it? I thought it was the same like Nouvelle-Aquitaine having Bordeaux as both
Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is the other region where the prefecture is Dijon but the council seat is in Besançon. These are the only two regions with this particularity.
Ik but ask my teacher abt that
I ask myself the question why every single day when I hear what we have to do on French classes
