Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"ce" as a subject pronoun is neuter (so functionally masculine singular)
ce/cet/cette/ces is NOT a subject pronoun, it is an adjective
"ce" as a subject pronoun only comes before « être » (and occasionally a couple other verbs, but être is the only main one, don't worry about the others)
ce/cet/cette/ces, being an adjective, comes before a noun
Ok so every time you’re saying “this is” it doesn’t matter it will be “c’est” right?
Basically yeah
Okay so like “ce livre” “cette maison” “c’est ma maison”
And then what about ça, when do I use ça?
