Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"façon" has several meanings, but the main one is a "way" as in one way to do something (not as in a path)
is there a specific context you're looking for?
way
That's not a very helpful answer lol. What exactly confuses you about it?
im just wondering if we use façon the same way we would use « way » in regular english
like how i did in that sentence
ok thank u
You used 'way' on its own, with no context. That makes it tough to know if you used it the correct way.
“You’re doing it the correct way”
“I like the way you did that task”
“Could you show me different ways you just did that?”
“I agree with you in the same way you agreed with ____”
Yep, those can all be translated using 'façon'.
