Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

The goal of this server is to support people learning the language, not to be a translation service. If you are looking to better understand some concepts, feel free to ask.
If you're looking for translations, there are plenty of services online, but not on this server. Online translators like Google Translate or DeepL can do the job for free, but if you're looking for something more reliable, paid services are available online. Translating is a job.
Like I've already told you twice, you need to try first. We're not going to hand you the answer.
please i need help! my teacher didn't teach us how to write questions in passe compose
We're not a translation service, so you're going to need to try yourself
Otherwise, just use deepl
tf is deepl
Well, we're not a service that exists to help you cheat on an assignment, so good luck!
bro please!
i dont wanna embarress myself!
we have to presant it and then shes gonna give feedback at the end
Cheating is more embarassing than messing up an assignment
IM ASKING YOU TO TEACH ME
Look, you're going to have to make some effort. We've been abundantly clear that we're not going to do this for you.
take a shot, ask questions if you have doubts
You keep saying "teach me" but you've made no attempt
how do you write questions in passe compose?
try
il a mange (fancy e thing) la pizza.
wait
thats not a question
qu-il a mange la pizza?
no
but rn its the passe compose mark
Doesn't matter
if you don't know how to ask a question in the present tense, you're sure as hell not going to do it in the passé composé
Read that
quel age a tu?
il y a combein de personne dans sa famille?
all i know
Quel âge as-tu ?
and
Il y a combien de personnes dans sa famille ?*
But that just seems like you've memorized the format
Read the lawless french article first
est-ce que elle -
avons-ce que nous -
is this correct?
do you use etre or avoir when asking questions?
You seem to lack some basic understanding of how questions work in French and just throwing shit against a well and seeing if it sticks isn't going to get you there
Read the article
You can turn questions into statements, and vice versa.
He is old.
Is he old?
They have a car.
Do they own a car?
So it depends on the question. Both can be used.
for example if you wanted to say
what did you eat?
do you like badminton?
what did you do on the weekend?
Did you go anywhere?
i cooked during the weekend.
i cleaned during the weekend?
how old are you?
how would you do it?
Take the second example: do you like badminton? What would this be as a statement?
The link Andy posted will also help a lot. It's worth a read.
I sent it to them earlier too :/
