Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Why don't you give it a try first
Well what did you have?
idk what is to give

Bookmark this site, it's a wonderful bilingual dictionary

Aside from the accents, the placement of the object pronoun is the only error here. They're placed before the verb they affect
Ok
so for example, 'I see you' is « Je te vois » not « Je vois te »
With the passé composé, the verb is the auxiliary, either « avoir » or « être », so the object is placed behind that
The past participle, donné, is just there for the ride really
Yeah
But you’ll be the one making the full sentence
Anyway, just as an example, ‘I saw you’ would be « Je t’ai vu » with « t’ai vu » being « te + ai vu »
In English – I’m assuming that’s your native language, disregard if not – contractions like ‘I’m’ is considered street talk and to be avoided but in French they’re mandatory
Ma mere m’a donne quelques taches
Wonderful !
Some accents for you:
« Ma mère m’a donné quelques tâches »
Alright second part
Yea I’m on phone so it takes time for accents, I left it
The ‘every day based on the daily requirements’
I’ll help you on one part because it’s not translatable: ‘based on’ is « selon (according) »
For the rest, you can consult the dictionary I gave earlier :)
so as a whole what is the sentence?
Ok wait
Ma mere m’a donne quelques taches tous les jours selon les besoins quotidiens
Voilà you're speaking French already
Ma tache etait a organiser la maison tous les jours
@fresh leaf is this sentence correct
I'm guessing that you were trying to translate, 'My task was to organise the house every day'?
It's close, you're just using the wrong preposition
should be « était d'organiser » though if 'organising' here is tidying up, it should be « ranger »
okay ranger but why use de article
I need to say “to”
That’s just the preposition you use
Ok
