Okay cool, I was just unsure how to write it, is it correct that when used as a question it can be used to ask for direction?

yeah, you can ask "Comment je fais pour aller à l'arrêt d'autobus?" or "Quel est le chemin pour aller à l'arrêt d'autobus?"

you can also say "pour me rendre à" instead of "pour aller à"
