Not all adjectives come after the noun. Ones pertaining to the following instead precede it:

• Beauty
• Age
• Goodness
• Size

Im not sure but maybe it is about that there is also nationality adjective which comes after the noun so " célèbre " preceded the noun in that case.

Also some adjectives that follows certain pattern may change(Come before or after the noun) its place and give another meaning.

Un bon homme : a handsome man

Un homme bon : a good man(characteristics)
