Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
chevalier servant id say
I dont think there really is one specific way to say it in French (or none that i can think of atleast).
But if you wanna say : « He is such a knight in shining armor. » you would say that he is a « gentleman. » or a « beau gosse. » if you wanna be more familiar.
But « You are such a knight in shining armor. » is more like a « sauveur », which means savior.
'Chevalier en armure brillante' exists, apparently. Seems to be quite rare/tied to a certain game.
i wanted to use it sarcastically
like "He's your knight in shining armor"
Then sauveur ou hero.
Haha xD, well technically you can use gentleman or beau gosse (bg for short) in a sarcastic way too but its usually in a more romantic context.
Then 'chevalier en armure brillante' seems to fit the bill.
Yea i guess, it works.
prince charmant ?
