Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Alright then
'I will never be defeated again'
Je serai = I will be
ne … plus jamais = never again
vaincu = defeated
what the meaning of the "ne"? Is like a preposition?
In French, « ne » used to be the original negation, like in any other Romance language. Your bio has 'Ela/Dela' which is Protuguese, so I'm going to assume you're a native Portuguese speaker or you're familiar with it. In Portuguese, to turn a sentence negative, you add 'não'. « ne » is the French equivalent of 'não', basically, in terms of word origin. However, in French, this original negative particle had weakened and so an adverb like « pas (step) » was added to reinforce it, like « je ne marche pas (I don't walk [another] step) ». Nowadays, they now come in pairs so you have the original negation « ne », the verb, and then the intensifier. There are several of them you can read here but the most common ones are:
« ne … pas » = not (regular negation)
« Je mange (I'm eating) / Je ne mange pas (I'm not eating) »
« ne … plus » = no longer
« Je marche (I'm walking) / Je ne marche plus (I'm no longer walking) »
« ne … pas du tout » = not at all
« Je mange (I'm eating) / Je ne mange pas du tout (I'm not eating at all) »
« ne … jamais » = never
« Je marche (I'm walking) / Je ne marche jamais (I'm never walking) »
« ne … rien » = nothing
« Je vois quelque chose (I see something) / Je ne vois rien (I see nothing/I don't see anything) »
« ne … personne » = no one
« Je vois quelqu'un (I see someone) / Je ne vois personne (I see no one/I don't see anyone) »

No problem! If you want to start learning French, this article will contain what you need to learn. As a Portuguese speaker, another Romance language, much of this will at least be familiar to you.
