Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
consistency is key, but beyond that, different things work for different people. I would focus on trying to build a habit of doing a little bit every day. Coming here often and chatting with people in French can also help you feel motivated.
it's a lot more fun when you have actual people to talk to in French!
I know I’ve been trying to have study partners in French but most people I find are usually ghosting or just rlly dry 🥲
I recommend listening to music so it's more enjoyable
french music of course
for me i listened to a lot of music and cooking videos
it gets easier the better you are at French, the first bit is tough and you just gotta kinda grind through it. eventually you'll be able to have basic convos with strangers in #français-débutant
Music is a good suggestion and it's also a good way to learn the accent
OO are there any music you would recommend?
D’accord! Merci beaucoup 💕
Joe Dassin is good
Old music but good for knowing some cultural stuft
