Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
adjectives usually agree with the gender of the noun they describe in french
For feminine nouns you typically add an "e" to the masculine form to make the adjective feminine. Some adjectives have different rules for agreement, but adding "e" for the feminine form is a common pattern in French grammar. Some adjectives are already gender neutral so you wouldn’t need to add an e if the noun is feminine for example "super", "sympa" and "marron", other feminine adjectives do end with e but the e comes with other letters in the endings. Adjectives that end with "eux" become "euse" in the feminine
ahhh
For example curieux and curieuse, heureux and heureuse. Adjectives that end with "if" become "ive" in feminine form. Sportif and sportive, actif and active
These patterns will soon become second nature to you once you start practicing them
