Rules that you can generalize? Not really
À is used in lots of different situation
You simply need to memorize what kind of place names require it when going to them
As well as which verbs require à to introduce an indirect object
I might need to immerse more then, lol
For some reason, prepositions are hard for me to understand but I'll eventually get there!
Could you recommend some resources for memorizing when to use which prepositions?
Lawlessfrench has articles on a lot of different use cases, but the main thing is usually just learning it with the verbs
