Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
You use si when you answer a negative question.
When your answer negates the negative question.
You aren't going to the party, right?
No, I am. -> Si
English regrettably deals with this terribly, but it used to have a four-way yes/no/yea/nay distinction
historically to answer a positive question, yea and nay were used
Are you hungry?
Yea, I am hungry.
Nay, I'm not hungry.
and to answer a negative question, yes and no were used
Are you not hungry?
Yes, I am hungry.
No, I'm not hungry.
