Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

You don't say "ceci livre".
A pronoun is supposed to replace the noun it references, you don't use it alongside said noun.

Ça is only a pronoun, not an adjective unlike ce.

cela and ça are the same, ye? there is no difference?

stark lagoon

Same thing, ça is more familiar than cela.

This/that + noun, such as 'this/that car' would be 'ce' for masculine nouns and 'cette' for feminine ones (or 'ces' for plurals):

This/that book -> Ce livre (m.)
This/that car -> Cette voiture (f.)
These cars -> Ces voitures

#

Or 'cet' for feminine nouns starting with a vowel:

This/that orangutan -> cet orang-outan

Slight correction, cet is not exclusive to feminine nouns

#

Oh in fact it's exclusive to masculine nouns

im not sure if anyone else has pointed it out, but you can say "ce livre-ci" although "ce livre-là" would be more natural unless you're contrasting ci with là
