Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"Language reinforcement can be chosen starting from the 10th grade: English brochure for CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in History and Geography"
I looked up "classe de seconde" in the French education system and it turns out that it’s the equivalent of the 10th grade here in the US
DNL Hist Géo" means CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) but in French it’s known as DNL (Discipline non linguistic) for History and Geography subjects
It pretty much refers to a subject that is taught in a foreign language, typically as part of a bilingual or content and language integrated learning (CLIL) program. In your context it’s indicating that History and Geography (non-linguistic disciplines) are taught in English to help foreign students improve their language skills while learning the content of the subjects
Thank
That’s helpful
