Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Ma tante.
You will see 'mon' used with feminine nouns if that noun starts with a vowel.
For example:
My friend (female) -> Mon amie.
*not directly the noun, just whatever the next word starts with
Mon amie
Ma meilleure amie
Ma maison
Mon ancienne maison
Kk
Like a e i o u?

And sometimes h
Like will all words change to mon if it’s like that
Yess Kk
Ma always becomes mon before a vowel
Np!

Yep.
In French the possessive depends on the noun, not the person to whom it is connected.
Unless it's some slang term with another meaning: never.
I can't find examples where 'mon tante' is not a mistake.
So i would always say ma tante? Idk why google said ma/mon
You would, yes.
it's not
so never, indeed
