Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
There are 2 different kinds of "ce" but they don't seem to be causing you issues rn (the other is an adjective) so we'll just talk about the subject pronouns ce + ça
"Ce" will directly follow "être". There are a few other verbs where it may be used, but this is the primary place you will see it (c'est, ce sont, ce serait, ce sera, ce fut, c'était, etc.)
"Ça" is used for basically every other verb, and can come before an "être" conjugation if it starts with a consonant (ça serait, ça sera, etc), though this is more colloquial
"Ça" can also be an object pronoun, while "ce" cannot
oh that makes sense thank you
can both be used for this and these?
or only ça can be used for these?
