Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
plus précisément, pq est-ce que « utilisé » et pas « utilisait » 🗿
jsp si any of the sentence is correct tho, i used deepl to make sure and it only changed the conjugation
utilisé is the past perfect form as an adjective like english “used”, utilisait is the past imperfect form as a verb
ah okay
well i've not learned past perfect yet so makes sense why i was confused
Imperfect, not past perfect
utilisé = used
utilisait = was using
Imparfait: « J’utilisais cet ordinateur quand il s’est soudainement éteint. (I was using this computer when it suddenly turned off.) »
Passé composé : « J’ai utilisé l’ordinateur aujourd’hui. (I’ve used the computer today.) »
Plus-que-parfait: « J’avais utilisé l’ordinateur avant de partir. (I had used the computer before leaving.) »
ah merci
les exemples ont m'aidé (?)
m'ont aidé*
Object pronouns are always before the verb, and the verb is the auxiliary avoir (ont)
merci encore baha
