Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
"toi" is an indirect object pronoun or stress pronoun
"tu" is a subject pronoun
oh ok
an example would be "tu manges quoi?", you'd never say "toi manges quoi?"
alternatively you could say "toi, tu manges quoi?" to put empathsis on the person you're talking to
It’s because it’s not specific right?
Tu is not emphasized or specific while toi is specefi right
well i wouldn't say that exactly
it's just that using toi can add emphasis
Oh ok
when talking to someone and you say "tu + verbe + etc" it's directed to them specifcally
"tu" is equivalent to the english "you"
Oh ok
