Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

« phrase » in French means a sentence whereas a « locution » just means an expression or a group of words that act as something. For example, « bien que » is a « locution conjonctive » because it’s a group of words (bien + que) that, when combined with one another, produces a conjunction.

« Bien qu’il pleuve, je dois partir. »
(1) « phrase » would be the whole thing.
(2) « locution conjunctive » would be « bien que ».
(3) « bien qu’il pleuve » would be the « proposition subordonnée (subordinate clause) ».
(4) « je dois partir » would be the « proposition principale (main clause) ».

I see thank you and is the" bien qu'il pleuve " a subordonné circonstancielle, if so which one is it? In my opinion i guess its subordonné c.c de cause
