Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
in my head its "je besoin aussi"
Besoin isn't a verb! It's used in conjunction with "avoir" to say "need <sth>"
J'ai besoin d'une pomme -> I need an apple
Tu as besoin d'une voiture -> you need a car
The "en" in your second example is a way of referring to a previously mentioned complement introduced by "de", which is required with "avoir besoin de".
J'ai besoin d'une pomme -> J'en ai besoin -> I need it (an apple)
It's an adverbial pronoun and can be really confusing if you haven't learned it yet
thats so confusing
but i get the rough idea of it
thanks lemon!
Here's a decent article on it, but don't sweat it too much if you don't understand it yet https://www.lawlessfrench.com/grammar/en-adverbial-pronoun/
thanks!
It can help to think of 'avoir besoin de' as 'have need of'.
The need to sleep -> Le besoin de dormir.
