Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
« Si javais dargent je voyagerais là »
« Si tu mavais pas interrompu je laurais fini »
The present is for something you would do now or in the future if [condition] is met
The past is for something you would have done if the condition had been met
Thx
french and english tenses are pretty different, but in this case those two are pretty similar
Its late i couldnt really understand but i wanted to learn it right away
Btw, the object pronoun goes before the verb: "je l'aurais fini"
My bad
and remember the apostrophes too ^^
So if we look at your examples:
"Si j'avais dargent, j'y voyagerais" [maintenant, bientôt]
"Si tu m'avais pas interrompu, je l'aurais fini" [à ce moment-là, dans le passé]
Apostrophes idk its not a dealing speech i dont think i should really use them
??? Verb endings aren’t also a deal in speech because many of them are alike, so are you saying you shouldn’t care about how things are conjugated???
