Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

Two possibilities, with very different meanings :

  • "A ferait mieux que B" -> "A would do better than B", as in, they would perform a task better
  • "A ferait mieux de + verbe" -> A really should do something (otherwise something bad will happen)

The construction is a bit weird with "if". Just a sec

#

Maybe "Tu irais mieux si tu me quittais" as in, they would get better. Not exactly what you were saying though

No prob, it's not easy to find a direct equivalent for "doing better", but maybe someone else will have an idea
