Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Not sure I follow - what are all the forms of "le serpent" ?
To my knowedge there is no feminine form of "serpent". To describe a female snake you'd simply say "un serpent femelle"
You ask very vague questions. If you show us a link to what you're looking at, or an example of what's confusing you, it would be a lot easier to help
What forms are you talking about? Where are you reading them? What's the context?
Thanks so much for the reply once again. Glad to hear that "serpent" hasn't got a feminine form. ๐
I was initially confused by these, mistaking them for distinct variations of the word "serpent."
I thought these were separate forms of "serpent". I apologize for causing confusion. Thanks for the reply. ๐
I should have included the screenshot. I'll surely do my best to ask questions with more clarity. Thanks so much for taking the time. ๐
Yeah it's just dictionary results, like how if you search "serpent" in an actual dictionary it will also show the entry for "serpentine". You can always follow the links and see what they mean and whether they are indeed related
