Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
And if i were to say "i blame myself", would that be "je me en veux", but if it is a part of a larger sentence, would it take the infinitve? So for example, is "suis-je l'idiot d'en vouloir á moi" correct?
i am having a bit of a rough time understanding this
"je m'en veux" "suis-je l'idiot de m'en vouloir"
"en vouloir" à quelqu'un = to be mad at someone for something bad they did
right I think i am starting to grasp it
it's an expression (I forgot the term)
like an already-built construction
i think i know what you are talking about
it was a tricky one as a beginner, i translated it as something like "am i the troudeballe for wanting my gf"
so yeah i got to do some practice with this construction to really understand its usage
so thank you
