first it's "avoir besoin (de)" and second
avoir besoin (de) = (basically) physically needing something
falloir (que) = (kinda) "got to" you can think of it in a way like saying "i need to/i gotta"
my teacher taught me also falloir being "it's necessary to"
so avoir besoin for example is like saying "i need a doctor"
and falloir is like saying "i gotta go to a doctor"

translation of those 2 examples:
"j'ai besoin d'un médecin"
"il faut j'aille chez médecin"

then again im not native so i might not have the best examples or explain well but whatevs

I think in that case you have to say i need to see the doctor so ;

J'ai besoin de voir un médecin

For the second phrase, "il faut j'aille chez médecin" you need to implement the conjonction que in order to make the subjunctive.

Il faut que j'aille chez le médecin

If you use il faut, then you have to follow it with an infinitive verb like

Il faut travailler beaucoup afin de réussir.

And avoir besoin de is not only for physical needs you can also use it for the emotions or other things like

Le bonheur, c'est une chose dont j'ai besoin depuis longtemps.

J'ai une question complémentaire, quelle est la différence entre "tu dois" et "il faut"? Merci.

oh je le sais !!!! alors, "devoir" veut dire "have to/must"
tu le verrais si quelqu'un veut assurer qu'on comprend que c'est important à faire quelque chose.
par exemple, "tu dois ranger ta chambre! c'est en désordre!" (you HAVE TO clean your room! it's a mess!"
par contre, "il faut" veut dire que c'est nécessaire à faire quelque chose.
c'est moins direct et plus comme "gotta"
par exemple, "il faut que je range ma chambre" (i gotta clean up my room)
quand tu veux dire "i gotta do something," tu veux usuellement dire "il faut que"
fais attention, car "il faut que" va utiliser le subjonctif
