Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I'm going to ask you to read this page on articles, and read about the details of each of the three articles.
thanks
np
oh, it is gonna be problematic because
i have no idea how to correctly place articles in english either
it is my common weakness
between two
I'm going to put the links here in case you need quick access:
Definite articles - le/la/les
Indefinite articles - un/une/des
Partitive articles - du/de la/des
ty very much
Articles are placed before nouns
the newspaper (le journal)
a computer (un ordinateur)
some strawberries (des fraises)
uhhhh like i see
anyway i just gonna better first practice articles in english lol
like i kinda get what each means(both english or french) but when i write it gets very random
just think of them as things that are attached to nouns to help identify nouns
the indefinite/definite articles help in determining whether the noun it's attached to is something specific (the chair - as in a specific kind of chair that we all know) or general (a chair - just a chair of any kind that not all of us know)
