Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Sup, Pike, just like you I'm also a French Newbie. I really don't recommend Duolingo as your ONLY font of knowledge. Duo is an app where you'll only review things you already know or will get to know new words, phrases, terms and other stuff (It's good if you want to get in touch with a language and don't have the time to sit and study all day)
I've been using Busuu, i'ts pretty similar to Duolingo, but they have a really good method of studies. I've also been using the Grammaire Progressive de Français a friend gave me. Those two are amazing in terms of vocabulary, method and tons of other stuff you'd only learn in class. I highly recommend you give it a try.
Sorry if my English is broken, Portuguese is my mother language
Hi!! your English is fantastic, by the way!
Thank you for the suggestions. You're totally correct about Duolingo. I've started using Pimsleur and I enjoy it a lot. I will look into the others you've suggested!
My spoken French is very, very basic, but if you would like a language buddy to practice with, please let me know :)
