Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
I realized now that trouvés makes agreement with the COD "les" which replaces the GN "leurs amis".
ouais, à part de ça, tout me semble correct
aussi, c’est employé
I have forgotten to add the " le voix de participe passé dépitées"
Est-ce que ça à la voix passive ?
i’m not sure to be honest
passive voice is like « Le gâteau a été mangé par Marc »
here, we only have the past participle
I know this
But also some verbs have " sens passive "
like what?
Se vendre, s'acheter, se parler
ah, well those are pronominal verbs with a passive meaning
like in « Le petit déjeuner se mange au matin »
i’m pretty sure they’re still used in the active voice
also, there’s a slight difference in meaning between the passive reflexive and passive voice
anyways, to answer your question, i think « dépitées » has no voice
since voice is a characteristic of verbs, and here we only have a past participle
Does the only past participle usage here makes the grammatical category of "dépitées" an adjective ?
yes, « dépitées » is an adjective here
not a verb
you can see a lot of past and even present participles used as adjectives in a French
Yeah, so we are not %100 sure that is it considered in a voice or not
But most probably it doesnt have a voice due to being an adjective
i guess
i guess we can wait and see what a native thinks
Yeah i hope someone native will look to this thread
