Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
not if you don't say what it is about
@paper yoke If you've already made a good faith attempt at your homework, we can go through your answers and help explain why they are correct or not. You'll need to make an attempt first, though.
Sorry this is my first semester in French and I'm still very clueless on what's happening
@paper yoke
No worries, we're here to help 🙂
go ahead 🙂
So I am making a project where I have to make 30 directions using all the verb tenses, conjugated verbs
So far I am on the 10th one
But I have been using "Droit" and "Gauche" and "tout droit" alot
It seems very repetitive and I want more variety so I can fit in the verbs
As you can see it's repetitive
okay, let me see...
nord (north)
sud (south)
est (east)
ouest (west)
tout droit (straight ahead)
à droite (to the right / on the right)
à gauche (to the left / on the left)
en face de (in front of; facing)
à côté de (next to)
au coin de (at the corner of)
la première à droite (the first (street) on the right)
la rue suivante (the next street)
tout près (very close)
loin de (far from)
après (after)
avant (before)
@paper yoke do these help?
also, right (the direction) in french is droite (with an e)
straight ahead is tout droit (without an e)
you'll need to fix that in your text 🙂
