Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Btw asking because my french teacher used to tell my class to say “Je suis excité” when we are asked “Commet ça va" (idk if I spelt the commet part right)
(when we are saying that we are excited)
So, both terms can work as a translation for ‘I am excited’ but because « excité » carries a sexual connotation, beginners are taught to avoid it because of the double meaning

so if someone were to sau "Je suis excité" by itself
would it be considered to be a bad thing to say?
or would it be fine to say it like that
