Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
This is one of those words where there isn't a direct translation. Some words can work depending on context, but you basically need context to translate this one.
this is what wordref says
basically you have to mold your sentence in a way that conveys that meaning
even wordref isn't that helpful in this case, most of the time you're gonna use another construction in order to convey the same meaning
you can also use 'attachant', it means appealing but it generally can replace relatable i believe.
Once again, depends. I'd say it works in like 5% of cases
this one is specifically an adjective for people or animals, and the meaning is someone that is gentle and sympathetic
the person/animal is gentle or it makes you feel gentle towards it?
kinda both
So theres nothing like this?
- I went to the store and i got so scared when i turned and suddenly saw a mannequin
- relatable / mood
Maybe an idiomatic phrase that doesnt necessarily translate to relatable?
But can be used in the same context
That i gave
je connais / compréhensible
are the ones that come to my mind, there are other ways to say it
C'est pertinent aussi? Niek m'a dit que son ami lui l'a dit
^
not sure I understand your question
"Cest pertinent"
not the same meaning. It means relevant
Hmmmmmmmm
