Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

I'm not the best at French, but "ancien" means ancient and "vieux/vielle" means old. I'd use "ancien" when talking about historical stuff, for example, the ancient building, and "vieux/vielle" mainly for everyday speech and talking about people's age.

"ancien" is also one of those words that changes meaning depending on its placement
Mon ancien professeur -> My former/old prof
Mon professeur ancien -> My ancient prof

Like how "old" has different meanings in english
