Please be patient

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.

Pro tip: you can rename the thread title with `.tr <thread name>`

Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

usually, when the adjective follows the noun, it has an objective or literal meaning
whereas when the adjective precedes the noun, it has a figurative or subjective meaning

#

although, this might not seem very obvious sometimes

I'm not sure this will help very much but there are actually adjectives that can have two meanings depending on usage in English too

compare to like

  • ma propre chambre (my own room)
  • une chambre propre (a clean room)

the word "proper" is used like that in English too

  • "this is my proper room" (my own room)
  • "my room is proper" (my room is clean)
