Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Repeats? You mean prefixed verbs like « venir » and « revenir » ?
Yeah, you should learn them too since prefixed verbs don't always have the same auxiliary verb as their main verb. « venir » takes être and so does « parvenir, devenir, revenir » but « prévenir » takes avoir
no
like "a" being their multiple times
nvm
i am dumb
but is there a better way
Not really. I mean, the best way to memorise anything is to use them in context which means drills and exercises to get you acquainted with these verbs, but for many people it's often better and more effective to first memorise the most common verbs and then use them in context.
I dont have the time for that
rn my congugation final is coming up
i can focus more on the "usage/application" a bit later...
Unless you know for sure that your exam is just 'conjugate X verb in passé composé', pure memorisation wouldn't do anything since most exams would also need you to know when to use the passé composé. Either way, if you only need to learn conjugation and that's it, there's no other way but memorisation.
no its just a table to fill out for passe compose future poche(aller only) and stuff like that
the infinitive will be given
The advice still stands: memorisation
I'm no expert but I like to remember them in pairs much better. And most of them are moving from one place to another or moving from one state to another
alr nvm i got it now
agreed
Salut!
