Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
votre is your
"votre profession" is singular 'object'
so we use est
becsuse thats singular
Ah, I thought votre was related to vous.
it is
because its the possessive of vous
but "your profession" is one thing as an object
singular object
in english we'd ask "What IS (he she it is) your occupation"
not what are your occupation (no S)
not what am your occupation
Ah, I see. I think I was expecting the your to agree with the verb and not the noun. But this makes sense. Thank you
same with vos (plural)
