Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
« n'importe qui » is an indefinite pronoun that means "anybody" or "anyone"
it's a fixed phrase, so it stays like that no matter what
Oh wow first time i've seen that there is a thing like that
I thought that the sentence says we shouldn't import from them
So i put it in the impératif
the entire sentence means "I am reading in a magazine that there is a nuclear weapons black market and that anybody will soon be able to buy a nuclear bomb."
there are other words that are just like this:
- n'importe quand – whenever, any time
- n'importe où – wherever, anywhere
- n'importe quel – whichever, any
- n'importe comment – however, in any way
- n'importe quoi – whatever, anything
note that for « n'importe quel », you have to agree « quel » to the noun
no problem 👍
Thank you so much i appreciate this information i will note that down in my notebook now
