Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
there are two problems
you've picked the wrong pronoun
and the pronoun you need to pick needs to agree with the past participle
now you've fixed the pronoun
Or
J’ai les pris en France?
but the pronoun comes before the verb, so you need to make the past participle agree with it
no this is wrong, the one before was closer
Sorry im struggling to understand my mistakes
je les ai pris <- the error in on the last word
past participles for compound tenses agree with direct objects if the direct object precedes the verb
So priss?
not quite
pris can take 4 different forms :
pris → masc sing
prise → fem sing
pris → masc plural (looks the same as sing)
prises → fem plural
Je les ai prises en France?
bingo
As ‘Les photos’ is both feminine and plural so I would use ‘prises’
Is my understanding correct
Thank you very much
