Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Pronoms disjoints vs. Pronoms conjoints
Depends on the verb, the pronom disjoint can be used to emphasize pronoms conjoints tho
Can you emphasise it like this "je lui parle à elle" ?
Yea
Some verbs can only take pronoms disjoints in this context
Like
Je pense à elle
Oh I was just thinking about that scenario, je pense à toi can't be je te pense, but I didn't know if it could be replaced in some other way. Is there a set of rules for this that I can look up?
The rules of disjoint vs conjoint are really vague... You'll hear different theories
Typically, though:
Conjoint - verb typically used for animate objects
Disjoint - verb more used for inanimate objects or equal probability of inanimate or animate objects
