Im also a student, so wait till a person with good grammar responds hahah i hope my answer is right
the imperative for the 2nd person singular of "coucher" is « couche » without the s (this is a specific rule for -er verbs where the s gets dropped in the imperative in most cases)
and for deciding if you use an additional pronoun, it's just a question of whether the verb is "coucher" or "se coucher"
We say, couche-toi right?
but if we are talking about négative sentence, i believe that the sentence is going to be "ne te couche pas"
that is indeed something that one could say
yes, the pronoun order changes in the negative (although in informal speech in some places, it doesn't always)
Can we put this sentences in passé composé or other tenses too ?
Or are there any spécial rules about it ?
imperative only exists in the present
Oh
What if someone has said this thing in the past and im talking about it now ?
Is it the discours indirect
Il m'a dit ne te couche pas
You can't do it, you need to reformulate
There is a past imperative, but it's an order for a future state
Okay, but my sentence "ne te couche pas" makes sense right ?
Does it mean" dont sleep" ?
