Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
And Do we say
À matin or Au matin
Hmm for paragliding I think parapente is the word you are looking for :)
We usually say : au matin, but what is your sentence just to be sure ?
Uh i wsnt to say
At/in the morning, I have breakfast.....
I mean in French you say à midi
So I thought if it could be à matin
I wonder about soir though
À midi, je dejeune
Is it "le soir, je prendre le dîner"?
Ping me if you have an answer, please.
In that case it would be "au matin". You can also say le matin, le midi just like you did with le soir.
If you want to use "au, à" it would then be : au matin, à midi, au soir.
I think "midi" is an exception bc it indicates a certain specific time (12:00) rather than a whole time slot the way matin and soir do it.
Thanks
