Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Hem ... I can't understand either 🤣
"Sopra" for Soprano, then something i dont understand ("faut ma.. ?") and maybe "pour ça" (for that).
I dont think this is an insult, but an expression (slang ?) meaning something like "do we have to assist to that or endure that ?"
Yeahh it sure is something of that sort but it's so frustrating that I can't make out what he's saying and I was wondering if a native would be able to
It definitely starts with 'Sopra' and ends with 'pour ça', but I also can't find anything that it could be in between.
It sounds like three words.
- Seems to resemble 'je' or 'veux'
- Could be 'm'en' or 'ma'
- No idea, sounds like 'tiens' or something
Whatever it is, I'm lost.
Closest I have is 'je m'en tape', but it sounds way off in terms of whatever he pronounces.
@river relic I asked around: 'de bon matin' with a strong accent is the best guess currently.
De bon matin?
So it's like he's saying "it's too early for this"?
Thank you all for taking the time to answer
Thank you especially for asking others and providing an answer
Yes "Sopra, de bon matin pour ça ?" seems correct.
Thank you so much!
