#question sur ’moi, je’ / ’toi, tu’

Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
The context of this question is for writing song lyrics.
This isn't exactly what I've written (I cut out one line just to keep the context succinct) but it's along these lines:
Tu me manques
...
Et moi, je te manque
With the intended meaning being:
I miss you
...
And you, you miss me
question sur ’moi, je’ / ’toi, tu’
it sounds fine
Merci !
this is wrong
Tu me manques
...
Et moi, je te manque
Last line means me, you miss me.
Use toi instead to emphasis "you"
Ahh okay, thank you. I think I've only ever seen this emphasis matching the subject before this. I presume there's other similar cases too though.
mise en relief w pronouns can be used to emphasize the subject, direct object or indirect object
