Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
they're part of different sections of the number
tho following that logic "sept-millions" should probably be by itself too, let me look up the rule
because its deux-mille here too so why wouldnt the quatre-mille be the same
yeah you're right
anyway it seems it doesn't follow any of the 2 rules that exist
would sept-millions-six-cent-cinquante-quatre-mille-trois-cent-vingt-et-un(e) be correct
if i add the -
either there must be a hyphen between ALL numbers,
sept-millions-six-cent-cinquante-quatre-mille-trois-cent-vingt-et-un
or only between numbers lower than 100, excluding numbers linked with « et »
sept millions six cent cinquante quatre mille trois cent vingt et un
-> only « vingt et un » is smaller than 100, but it has « et » so no hyphen
3456
« trois mille quatre cent cinquante-six » would follow the rule

So old rule : only under 100 except with « et »
New rule : between every number and even when there's « et »
As long as you follow one of those you're good
okay tyy
