Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.

in my experience they struggle with understanding cursive
especially young ppl
since it's not taught there

at any rate, your statement made it sound like Americans somehow lack the ability to comprehend cursive or writing, which is simply not the case
so, please avoid blanket statements here in the future
I remember when I was in high school, I was one of only a few people that wrote in cursive. A lot of people couldn't understand it, and I found that hilarious. I only graduated high school 2 years ago too
it's not that they lack the ability, they've just not been exposed to it
I go to university here, and really only old people seem to understand cursive
