Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
Technically, both are field, but terrain would be easily affiliated to land and ground, whereas champ is more general, it could be a piece of land, it could be a field of study, of application, of asteroids, etc. It's more about a vast amount of X being gathered together, whereas terrain would almost always be land or be closely related to the idea of being on the land (like a cop working on the field.)
ahh okay so both can be ground but just that champ can also mean like "the field of biology "
