Our volunteers look into many questions every day; sometimes it takes them a little while to answer.
Make it descriptive, including relevant context, but also to the point. This way you improve your chances of getting a more relevant and specific answer.
these are all forms of your
ton is singular and not formal tho so I might say ton père as freinds for example
tes is the plural version of the above so I can sat tes parents (2 because itt's mother and father)
votre is the formal version of the singular
and there's also vos btw which is the formal plural
merci beaucoup, aide !
ta vidéo / tes vidéos would be correct but a lot of times people don't write the S for the plural because it's not generally pronounced 🙂
votre and vos are formal when talking to only one person, but also votre is used for a singular possessive when talking to multiple people, and vos can be for plural when talking to multiple people
okay i know you mean well Andrew but that paragraph is super confusingly structured lol
- ton/ta/tes (sing. informel) -- merci pour ton cadeau, mon pote
- votre/vos (sing. formel) -- merci pour votre cadeau, Monsieur Macron
- votre/vos (plur) -- merci pour votre cadeau, mes potes
